The last two weeks have been a little dry around here in the creativity department. The mojo had left the building... but I think maybe it's back! I created not one, but two layouts today... how cool is that! Of course, I stayed out of the yard for the most part today.
My yard.... I know I'm going to just totally love it this year, but it's going to take lots of my time... and that's ok... I love being outside!
I have managed to get all of our crepe myrtle trees cut back in the last week. We've only got 12 of those babies! Did a little digging and killed a dozen wasps! I told David that I did not move in this beautiful home to have to kill snakes and wasps! Not sure if the vermin are trying to run me off, but we see who is still standing! HA!
Both layouts I made today are for Jessica's album. I'm so thrilled with the progess I'm making on it. I'm as equally thrilled with the fact that I'm pulling from my old stash and using up some of it!
I did a little stamping and even used a rubon on this first layout!
Product List:
Paper - My Minds Eye & Stampin Up
Butterfly die cut - Stampin Up
Stamp set & ink - Stampin Up
Perfect Die Cut - My Minds Eye
Journal Sheet - Bo Bunny
Flowers
This next layout is for a sketch challenge over at the Memory Makers Magazine Forum.
These pics are from a trip Jess took to Dallas with a few friends for one of their birthdays. I love love love these pics! The girls were having a good time in their room... jumping from the air conditoner box onto the bed. The pics of their faces tell the whole story!
Most everything on used on this layout is from one of my Studio Calico kits! Love them! Flowers are prima and brads are Bo Bunny
I didn't journal on either of these layouts as you can see. My plans are to let Jess do her own journaling of memories. Plus I'm really afraid I'll spell someones name wrong! Now, that would be bad!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by!

Memory Makers Magazine Blog Bounce- Favorite Treat!
Welcome to the Memory Makers Magazine blog bounce!
This month I'm the first stop in the hop, so just follow the buttons at the end of each blog post. If you get lost along the way, click on the Memory Maker Magazine button, like the one you see below. You should find one on each blog post, it will take you back to the Memory Maker Magazine site for a full list of the hop participants and will help you get back on track.
Our theme for March is "Favorite Treat"! I didn't have to think long about what my favorite treat is these days. I seem to go through spells of what I am craving... and right now it's all about the Junior Mints and Vanilla Coke! I stop on my way back to work every single day and get some. Ha, one day I even thought I'd get two boxes of Junior Mints and have one for the next day... yeah, that didn't work out to well! I'm usually back in the office by about 1:45. If I still have any candy left by 2pm, it's a miracle!
I used all kinds of scrappy goodies on this layout. It was so much fun and just fell into place!
Cardstock is SU! Crumb Cake and misted with Peach Delight Glimmer Mist
Flourish in corner is Tim Holtz Idea-ology Mini Mask
Other Cardstock is Stamping Up Peach Parfait and Early Espresso
Pattern Paper is all Jillibean Soup-Vegetable juice, orange sugar, and toasted cumin
Doilie is from the baking section and misted with Key Lime Pie Glimmer Mist
Ruffle is crepe paper, misted with Key Lime Pie, then sewn down the middle and gathered to give ruffled look
Orange Flowers are Maya Road and misted with Peach Delight. They were then topped off with Prima Flower Centers and Frosted Lace Stickles
Graph Die Cuts were made with Stampin Up Very Vanilla cardstock and a Unity Stamp. I stamped one in Peach Parfait ink from SU! The other I used a Ranger embossing ink pad, Clear Embossing powder from SU! and Tim Holtx Walnut Stain distress ink.
Chipboard letters from The Paper Studio and painted with Folkart Soft Apple. The actually match much better than what the picture shows.
Sweet treats letters cut using my Pazzle and SU! Early Espresso card stock
Stampin Up! metal clip
This layout was really a lot of fun. I've been thinking for some time now about doing one on my after lunch must have, and it just fit this theme perfectly! Thanks for stopping by!
Now it's time to hop over to Francine's blog!

Kinda nice!
Nothing much going on in the household this weekend... and I have to say, it's kinda nice!
We did go see Miss Jessica yesterday and take her out to eat. We were able to spend a few hours together and it was really nice. We made a quick stop at the Hobby Lobby! I picked up a couple of albums, really needed them, a picture frame, and a beautiful cross and frame for Jessica!
Here's another layout for the Sr. Album. I'm telling you guys, I will get it finished this year!
Supplies used:
Paper - Stampin Up! Presto Patterns Specialty & Sassafras for Studio Calico
Stamps - SU! Admit Set & Studio Calico
Misc Prima flowers and Felt from my older than 12 months stash!
Dies - Sizzix Owl & Tim Hotlz Ticket Strip
Purple ruffle behind owl is crepe paper sprayed with Glimmer Mist
Inks - Tim Holtz distress inks
Stickles & Imaginisce Bling
SU! Orange Corduroy Button
As always, thanks so much for stopping by and for all your comments!

Starting to Bud!
As David and I were driving last night I noticed several trees that were starting to get little buds!! Today, walking to the mailbox, I noticed little springs of green grass!! How super duper exciting is that!
I seem to be dragging these days.. not sure why, but thinking I might could use some of Charlie Sheen's tiger blood! Have you heard some of his ramblings?
Here's my next layout for the Sr. Album. I actually enjoyed creating this page more than I thought I would. I was able to use my Unity Stamps for the first time and love the boots! Now I'm looking for more pages to use them on! Anyone need any cowboy boots?
Products used:
Little Black Dress December Kit
Papers: October Afternoon Schoolhouse Flashcards & Chalkboard;
SU! Cardstock
Stamps: Unity & Stampers Anonymous
Rubon- SEI
Letters- American Crafts Thickers
Ribbon- SU!

Project 12 - January
Here is my layout for Project 12 at Scrapbook and Cards Today.
I had some problems getting it posted last night due to our Internet being down all evening and night. Melissa was kind enough to email it to them for me, so thank you ever so much Melissa.
Journaling reads:
We spent our first New Year's in our new house. Matt & Kristin were here and we just had a nice lazy day!
Melissa introduced me to Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips. I feel in love with them and made chocolate chip cookies every week for the month!
I signed up for a photography class online.
We all met at Bill's Catfish for mom's 67th birthday!
I used skype for the first time with my imaginary friends. It helps me to not miss them so much!
I gave up farming on facebook!
Supplies used:
Paper- Stampin Up! Love Letter & First Edition DSP
My Mind's Eye Alphabet Soup Twinkle Twinkle
Embosslit Die - Sizzix Beautiful Wings
SU!- Scalloped Edge boarder punch
Fiskars Punch
