Memory Makers Magazine Blog Bounce - Ch-Ch-Ch-CHANGES!

Welcome to the August edition of Memory Makers Blog Bounce!

You should have just arrived from Kimber McGray'sBlog. If not, you can click on the Memory Maker Magazine link below for a full list of the hop participants and start at the beginning!

Our theme this month is about ch-ch-ch-Changes! I must admit I struggled with this one a bit, but then in the middle of having a heat stroke and thinking why oh why can I not take the heat anymore...my mind suddenly turned to this months theme and an idea was born!!

I'm hoping you can read my journaling. While I tried to keep a little humor in it, it is from my heart.

My pictures aren't the best tonight, hope to retake them tomorrow.. if life will give me a five minute break! :)
Thanks for stopping by!

Your next stop is the Memory Makers Magazine blog... click here or the button below to hop on over. Thanks for stopping by my blog, and have a fabulous day!

I love this photo of you, so beautiful. And the heartfelt honest journaling is wonderful. Huge props for being able to do that.

This is so great, Lisa. I know exactly what you mean. I thought I was ready to get old. I figured if you knew what was ahead you would be prepared and it wouldn't hit so hard. NOT SO!! I could have hugged you as I read your journaling. All so true but yet you will march to the drummer!! Go girl. We have to accept it and go from there!! It is what it is.

Not to get too deep, but I had mentioned to one dear lady at church many years ago how it was so sad and unfair that after we served our world for so long that we had to be in such pain as we got older. Her husband especially was crippled with arthritis. She said...oh my dear. That is OK!! If we always felt like we did in our youth we would never want to go home to our Father. I have never forgotten her wonderful wisdom!!

Still...let's carry on. Smile and have a great time!! It's all ages and stages...a wonderful state of mind!! LOL

Love the LO. So from the heart and I bet a great bit of therapy!! Love it!

What a powerful layout. I loved reading your journaling which made me laugh at times. That picture is also most poignant for the theme. Really nice job!

I realy like this Lisa. A great mix of papers; love those alphas too! I think layouts about ourselves are the hardest of all to do; you pulled it off beautifully!

This is just gorgeous! Love the different sized letters in the title, the background paper is just perfect, and I especially love your heartfelt journaling. This is my favorite picture of you, too, and it works so nicely with the journaling. Just perfect!
