Unusual Things

Hey Bloggers!

Not much going on over here today. Think David and I may run to town to look at some furniture. I drove by my house yesterday after work...yes I'm calling it my house.... yes I'm doing drive bys..... ANYWAY, that's not the point!...it's just beautiful over there. All the Crape Myrtles are blooming up and down the street. All I could think was, soon this will be my neighborhood and my yard is going to be AWESOME!

Tomorrow is Matt's birthday! He will be 23. My where does time go. I swear just a few days ago he was running around playing soccer and t-ball.

Here are my pages for Serene's cj. I just realized I hadn't posted them yet. Not sure what I was thinking.

These pages took a totally different turn than I had planned. I was planning on doing a more comical type layout, using my Paper Dolls Cartridge... but it just didn't work as suddenly I looked and the pages had a more elegant feel to them. I'm really pleased with the way these turned out. That's something I haven't been feeling with my layouts of late.
I used blue of course because it is Serene's favorite. The background paper is Bazzill Bling, #4 chipboard is from K & Company, all other products are Stampin Up!
The bird and flowers are stamped images that I colored and cut out. Oh, and the envelope is a Sizzix Die.

As always, thanks for stopping by!

BEAUTIFUL!! Love the LO's! Those flowers are knock out gorgeous!! And your pic is so sweet!!! You make such a beautiful couple! That personal ad really paid off big time for you!!

I don't blame you for casing out "your neighborhood" I would, too. How much fun that would be. Enjoy it. You usually buy a home once in a lifetime!

I LOVE IT!!! It's utterly gorgeous. Thank you for using blue. I know that's not your favorite color so I appreciate you doing that. I also appreciate all the effort you put in by cutting out those embellies. Talk about making me feel special that you would do that for my cj pages. Great pic of you and David, too. Thank you! I can't wait to get those pages!
